DESTIN, Fla. – Lauren Rich became executive meetings manager for the Sandestin Beach Golf Resort and Spa in June, a new position at the resort. She will handle bookings and coordinate plans for groups of 25 room nights or less. Rich joins the resort after serving as general manager and director of sales for the Magnolia Hospitality Group in Auburn, Ala.

GETTYSBURG, Pa. – Jenny Racey-McConnel joined the Gettysburg Convention and Visitors Bureau in June as director of sales. Racey-McConnel will primarily work with group travel leaders, tour operators and will help develop of meetings and convention business. Before taking this job, she worked for three years at the York County Convention and Visitors Bureau in York, Pa.
